Goodbye Is A Good Thing
Sometimes we need to say goodbye. Goodbye is a good thing, if you know deep down that you have learnt a lot from the people and events the universe has sent you. Things do really happen for a reason. Everyday we get closer to what's meant to be. Some lessons are harder than others, but we must all learn to grow from even the smallest event or situation.
You can be the master of your destiny. You just need to have a little bit of faith. If your not happy or feel dissatisfied, do something about it. I'm not saying we didn't love London, but the more we looked at our options we felt more unfocused about our goals in life. What do we all really want?
My entire career has been about helping others to look amazing. Either through my beauty services or photography. Or the two things combined. So to feel a bit meh in myself wasn't good. I was feeling this way for a while, and knew 2Boxes couldn't grow as both myself and my husband wanted. We want to keep helping others feel utterly wonderful, and we want more for our clients.
We have huge plans for the future. Plans for the business, but also for ourselves. This new and exciting business and life change simply came to me one afternoon. I had what you could say a lightbulb moment!
So myself and my husband decided to go with our guts and take control. We cleared out all the crap (god it felt good) packed up and moved on. It took less than 6 days to realise our new venture was the way forward. And a little under 6 weeks to actually be home and settled in Winchester once again. Yes some would say drastic and hasty, but in reality it's been the best thing we have done in years. The business plan is underway and in it's first stages. You have one life so take charge of it. I urge anyone to do the same.
It could start by just clearing out old unwanted, ill-fitting clothes, the books you haven't read in years, your sock draw with all the odd threadbare ones pilled high, the kitchen cupboards with the endless jars or useless pots and pans, baking trays, all the little irritating items you hate. It really feels incredible to cleanse everything. Physically throwing away that ghastly hoover that no one likes emptying (you know the brand) really feels like you are back in charge and can do anything. You also might be surprised by what happens!
New beginnings are just what 2017 needs! Goodbye London
