How To Have A Little Me Time
The quickest way to getting a little me time and chilling out is to have a nice cup of tea. Now for as long as I can remember I’ve had a thing about drinking tea out of a beautiful cup. I treat tea as a pick me up, like most of us, I’m sure. What’s the most wonderful way to feel utterly indulgent. Sipping it out of a beautiful enchanting, and delicate China cup and saucer, that’s what. Learning relax would be easier if we made time for tea!
Afternoon tea was taken like a ritual years ago. In China it’s part of their culture. Here in Britain we love tea don’t we…but we decide to drink it too fast. We drink it out of ugly mugs in a hurry. Or gulping it down in a rush.
Make time to be calm, and peaceful. Your surroundings will different. You will almost feel like you have space to think more clearly.
My Daily Me Time Pleasures
- Walking my dogs for miles
- Having a nice long bath
- Making a nice hot cup of fresh tea and curling up on the sofa
- Going to the gym, even if its for the spa trip at the end!
- Indulging in little a me time with an Ombar without the guilt. They are seriously great raw cocoa thats packed with goodness.
If we all took the time out to relax more in life it would be a lot calmer all round. Taking time out for a nice cup of tea, chilling out and putting your feet up these days are very far and between.
I feel most of us don’t let ourselves relax. We don’t listen to our bodies most of the time. We beat ourselves up over not working hard enough and look where it gets us, all stressed out.
Learning to relax with a nice cup of tea has become a thing of the past for many. What’s wrong with making a nice hot drink and indulging in some me time.
