How To Dress Like A Bond Girl
Are you ready for a truly fashion packed post. Think fabulous, think sultry and think glamours. Well that’s what I lean towards when I think about how to dress like a Bond girl. Being asked to style a few looks for N.Peal for a shoot on how to dress like a Bond girl was kind of a dream come true. So I dashed (I would have driven an Aston Martin very fast or swam the Themes in a Bond Girl wet suit full of gadgets if i could have) down to their boutique in Burlington Arcade a few days ago to to pick out some essential Bond girl looks.
I wanted to create a vibrant, sultry and strong look. Just like the women in all the Bond films I was able to dress in the very range that was featured in the latest Spectre film.
James Bond himself (Yes Daniel Craig) had a range created for the very film. And it’s now available to purchase for the man in your life that loves every thing Bond related! Perfect for that special Christmas present. Dads, brothers and the husbands will be overjoyed if they get to open and wear the ultimate gift this year. A fair few of the items featured I would rock with skinny jeans too! Daniels grey jumper he wears in one scene is totally on my lust list.
The first look is inspired by Diana Rigg in On Her Majesty’s Secret Service (1969) if she lived in the heart of london.
Next up is inspired by one of the most beautiful Bond Girls of all time and that’s Rosamund Pike in Die Another day (2002) This look depicts a casual day in basic jeans and over the knee boots with the same roll neck as before, a beautiful poncho cape and fur cuffs from N.Peal.
Then my final look inspired by Sophie Marceau in The World Is Not Enough (1999) I styled this look with a stunning lace skirt from Mango. The perfect roll neck (couldn’t take it off it was that good) Fur collar cape from N.Peal, Zara necklace & heels, Heist tights & a clutch bag from Pickett.
So when you think of Bond girls what do you ultimately think of makeup wise? Red lips, black flicks, perfect skin and a mascara to give you the most alluring lashes of all time. You too can recreate my Bond girl look with Clarins.
They kindly helped us create this look with a few of their latest range. Joli Rouge Lipstick. Wonder volume mascara (for the top lashes) Be Long mascara (for the bottom lashes) Instant liner (for my flicks) & Waterproof liner pencil for that defined smudged under eye look.
The look is one that I’m loving at the moment so be prepared to see lots of sultry lips and dramatic eyes of the next few months!
