The Perfect Staycation
We have had a few days off just wandering the city. We haven't ventured very far as we decided to stay at home for the week. I have been determined to have the perfect staycation!
My plans are to live in everyday basics such as jeans, slouchy trousers, blazers, heels and basic camisoles for the entire week. I planed my wardrobe a week before so I did't have to think about what I was wearing each day. I picked up a few new items as I wanted to update my closet to make the week feel a little more special. I'm living in my new array of Zara blazers as the truly go with everything.
My perfect staycation needed to feel like I'd planed my outfits ahead of time. Just like a proper holiday but without the need for a suitcase. My time will be filled with writing, clearing out some unwanted items in my life and closet and snapping away with my new full frame camera the Sony 7aii as it's overwhelmingly winning my heart right now.
The other list of activities are as follows. Lots of breakfasts in bed, tons of coffee tips, shopping trips for new classic items, visits to the spa and gym and by golly are they paying dividends. I'm hurting in places I forgot even existed! Cooking loads of vegan meals with my daughter as she's visiting for a few days and no alarm.
Normally I'm up at 6.30/7am when my husband heads out of the door to catch the train to London. And then my day begins with getting myself and the dogs set up for the day before I start work. Either seeing beauty and nail clients, photoshoots or editing images for clients
So a week of rest and rebooting after 7 months of living back in Winchester is heaven. I've been non stop since I came home. It's been incredible but at the same time very overwhelming. I also have lots of ventures in the pipeline with education and launches that a home holiday, and the perfect staycation really was the best plan.
I'm wearing Zara blazer, H&M camisole, Cos trousers, Zara heels (old) M&S bag (old) Zara earrings, RayBan sunglasses and Gucci Love Bangle.
