Accepting Autumn Is Almost Here

Accepting Autumn Is Almost Here

It’s hard to believe summer is almost over and accepting autumn is almost here is the new reality. Autumn is just around the corner. Everyone I’ve chatted with recently has been surprised at how quickly summer has flashed past in a whirlwind of hot sticky, thunderstorm and darn right terribly humid days. Maybe it was the fact that it's been a bit stop, start thats made us feel we have suffered this year.

But all in all summer has seemed so short. We’re not exactly ready to jump right into our overcoats, scarfs and head out with bobble hats on, or start worrying that we might end up shovelling snow anytime soon. More the pity as I love a good snow flurry and I'm ready for cozy night in drinking warm hazelnut latte's. It's a way off yet though, but at the same time I'm ready for a season of change.

So with that said I have started to change up my makeup along with my wardrobe for the coming seasons. When the cooler evenings hit I'm totally prepared and ready to embrace the coming months.

I have started to filter in more green, sage and golden tones within my eye shadow collection to accompany a few new staple autumn items of clothing. I always look at my outfit and then design my makeup that day or evening to compliment the final ensemble. Richer, warmer and vibrant shades are getting me excited for Autumn.

I'm clearing out my wardrobe along with a detox of my makeup collection. I do this nearly every season change or at least every 6 months. Us ladies cling on to way too many products and we need to realise they have a sell by date along with skincare. Autumn, I'm ready for you and so is my face!

I'm wearing Zara sequin jacket, Oasis jeans, H&M heels & camisole, Modalu bag & Gucci Love bangle. On my face I went for more golden tones and used the Urban Decay Palette no 2. Along with a rich Benecos lipstick and lashings of Arbonne's mascara.
