Nails are your calling card to the world. That was a quote I read once from the founder of the nail brand Essie. It's most certainly true. Nails are also a huge confidence booster. Give a girl a beautiful manicure and she will light up a room. She will talk with her hands and feel like she can concur the world. They finish off any outfit perfectly.
But you need to be mindful that from the moment you wake up your nails need to be treated like little Gemstones. If you look after them they will bring you so much joy! I remember wanting beautiful nails as a child and never quite being happy with them! If I'd had perfect nails I wouldn't have chosen my particular career path. I also can't imagine not ever having the drive to help others feel confident, beautiful and empowered by such a simple thing.
I've had a week off, a week to go to the gym, walk the dogs, to sleep in and to play with some new and very exciting nail products. I cant wait to share the news about these incredible innovative products very soon. I'm thrilled to be able to have an impact on others need for beautiful nails.
It will come as no surprise to those of you that know me, that I'm always on the look out for the best quality brands. I really do feel that what's happening will revolutionise the nail industry and deliver outstanding results for consumers and nail techs.
My confidence booster has always been my nails. From a beautiful natural nails thats cared for or enhancements. I love to wear mine in an almond shape when I have gel overlays as they elongate my fingers. I adore the neatness of a faded soft french. If you have a classic french make sure your white is balanced, Less is more. Deep white smile lines look very unstylish and false. The idea is to make them look perfectly natural even if you have extensions or colour. Good nails will make you feel elegant and girly. Bad nails will make you want to hide or hands and sit on them! Learning your nail etiquette is vital when you want to look sophisticated. It's a balancing act to look effortless and well manicured. I look after my hands as much as my face. I treat them to good products on a daily basis.
My go to nail products apart from the new (secret) products are exfoliating creams, oils and luxury hand creams. My all time favourite is Jo Malone. It smells divine, sinks in ultra fast and doesn't leave a sticky or greasy residue.
Hands are overlooked all too often when it comes to beauty regimes. They should be cared for just like the rest of our bodies.
